Dr. Hare Krishna completed M. Sc. and Ph. D. from IARI, New Delhi. Presently, he is working as a Senior Scientist (Horticulture) at ICAR- Central Institute for Arid Horticulture, Bikaner (Rajasthan). He has been associated with the development of ber variety Thar Malti and mulberry varieties Thar Lohit and Thar Harit. In his initial years of career, so far he has published research papers in 45 international and national journals of repute; authored 05 books and edited 02 books. He has developed guidelines for the conduct of DUS on Indian jujube (Ber) as Nodal Officer (nominated by PPV&FRA, New Delhi). He has been awarded ‘Certificate of Excellence in Reviewing’ by ‘Scientia Horticulturae’ and also an Editorial Board Member of it.
Dr. R.R. Sharma completed Post Graduation from IARI, New Delhi in 1994 and joined as Scientist in the Division of Fruits and Horticultural Technology, IARI, New Delhi and currently Dr. Sharma is working as Principal Scientist. During his scientific career, he has served several research projects and has been associated with release of mango hybrids like Pusa Arunima, Pusa Surya, Pusa Lalima, Pusa Shresth, Pusa Pitamber etc., and standardized several fruit production technologies. He is a prolific writer and has published 50 research articles in international journals, 65 in national journals, 160 popular articles in magazines, and 25 book chapters. He has also authored 10 books on different aspects of fruit production.
