'Alzheimers Disease (AD) is one of the common forms of Dementia and it is a major cause of concern all over the world. It is a neurodegenerative disorder which has been playing the role of the angel of slow death for more than a century. Although much research has been carried in many parts of the world for the last several decades but no head way has been made as yet in finding a cure for this disease. This book is a humble attempt to understand and unravel the mystery of Alzheimers Disease under the perspective of amyloid cascade hypothesis. Dr. Elizabeth Rosalind Thomas, did her graduation at St. Edmund's College, Shillong; post graduation at St. Anthony's College, Shillong; and PhD in the Laboratory of Molecular Neuroscience, Kunming University for Science and Technology (KUST), Kunming, China.
