For many medicinal plants detailed propagation methods have also been given. Chemical Structures of some important compounds are given. Line drawings of more than 500 plants and photographs of more than 300 plants (mostly Indian) are also given. An extensive bibliography has been given at the end. Index to synonyms, index to Sanskrit names, index to local names, index to trade names have been given for easy location. Some important medical terms have also been provide. Information on medicinal plants trade is given. The book also includes addresses of Traders in Medicinal plants and Pharmaceuticals (both in india and Abroad).
